Fundraiser Emma and trustee Alex put on a Bollywood Night Fundraiser in their local village hall, raising over £2,000. The sell-out night was a lot of fun with Bharatnatyam dancers, curry buffet and Bollywood music. Many of our supporters will know that The Batemans Trust started out helping the Anglo Indian children at St Georges School in Chennai. Today the trust helps children from a variety of ethinc and cultural backgrounds however many of our children still come from the minority Anglo Indian community. In recognition of this work, Anglos In The Wind, the international magazine for the Anglo Indian community, has published an article about Batemans.
